Full Text

A couple weeks ago Mrs. Lucy T. Mitchell, Sierra and Pajarito streets, placed some palm leaves by her garbage can for the garbage man to haul away. Garbage man didn't haul 'em, so about 7 o'clock Tuesday evening Mrs. Mitchell did the next best thing and set them on fire. The leaves, light as a feather and very dry, made a big blaze. Someone on the softball field saw the blaze and called the fire department. This incident brings up the old question "what constitutes garbage?" and also "what should the garbage man haul away?"
