WHAT VINTON NEEDS.
[Vinton Eagle.]

Vinton has two splendid canning factories, two good creameries, a fine pearl button factory, owns its own electric light and water plant, but its greatest need at the present time is a heating plant. Grinnell has a good one. Mason City is going to have one, and many other towns are following suit. A good strong company can be organized in Vinton. A franchise will be freely voted and given. The business part of the town is compact and can be reached at a minimum cost. The court house is easily reached as well as the churches. No great expense would have to be borne to reach a large number of residences as well as Tilford academy. Other places than these will come to your mind. There is undoubtedly good dividends in it for some one. What is needed is a leader in the matter, some one who will push. We believe there are plenty who will take stock in such a company.
