Is Installed

ALBANY, N. Y.—A device to electrically lock the express track switch with a bridge serving as a ramp between the platforms has been installed by New York Central at West 33rd St., into the Railway Express Agency Building.

This eliminates an unsafe condition whereby solid express trains were backed into the Express shed, resulting in frequent accidents in which crewmen were fortunate to escape injury, reports C. H. Sullivan, BRT New York state representative, who handled the matter after a complaint from George Kunzman, Lodge 678 legislative representative.
