COURT VOTES TO HEAR TESTIMONY OF ALLAN RYAN

ALBANY, N. Y., Oct. 7. The impeachment court this morning voted 41 to 14 to reverse Judge Cullen's ruling of yesterday forbidding Allan Ryan, a son of Thos. F. Ryan, to testify. This restored to record his testimony of yesterday when he testified that Sulzer had telephoned him to ask senator to have William Barnes, a Republican boss, influence the Republican state senators, to support Sulzer. The vote indicates that the court is overwhelmingly against Sulzer.

Ryan was then recalled to the stand and testified that Sulzer also appealed to him to have Delancy Nicol see Charles F. Murphy and persuade him to call off the impeachment trial. He wanted this accomplished thru the senate voting that the assembly had not the power to impeach during an extraordinary session.
