ANNUAL SESSION OF CAMP MEETING OPENS NEXT WEEK.

August 23rd to September 2nd are the Dates—A Strong Program Has Been Arranged For.

Secretary Nuzum and other officers of the La Crosse District Methodist camp meeting association have prepared a most excellent program for the annual session, August 23 to September 2, and cordially invite all to come and participate in this spiritual feast. The following information concerning the meeting has been given to the public in circular form:

EVANGELISTS

Rev. W. J. Calfee, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, an evangelist of great ability and power, will have charge of the evangelistic services and preach once each day during the meetings. He will be assisted by the preachers of the La Crosse district.

CAMP GROUNDS.

The camp grounds are within the city limits—three blocks from Main street, and consist of six acres, ideally located and fitted by nature as a place for camping. City water, telephone and other conveniences are free to all campers. The tabernacle, capable of seating 2,000, is well arranged and perfectly dry. In case of cold, rainy weather it can be heated.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Clergymen will receive lodging and meals free at the camp meeting boarding house. Lots for tenting and water furnished free. Tents with floors will be furnished as follows: Large tent to accommodate ten persons, for entire meeting, $5. Smaller tent to accommodate five persons, during entire meeting, $3. Meal tickets on the camp meeting boarding house, 21 meals for $4, or 25c a single meal. Meal tickets are interchangeable. For those not desiring to tent the city is well supplied with good hotels and restaurants. If you wish tents please write in advance and they will be put up ready for occupancy when you arrive. For any further information, please write to Rev. Geo. W. Nuzum, secretary, or Chas. E. Butters, superintendent of grounds, Viroqua.

ADMISSION

Admittance is free, except four days when an admittance fee will be charged to cover expenses.

RAILROAD FACILITIES

Viroqua can be reached by the C. M. & St. Paul railway from Sparta, trains leaving Sparta at 6:50 a. m. and 2 p. m. Also by the La Crosse & Southeastern leaving La Crosse at 7:40 a. m. and 4 p. m.

ANNUAL ELECTION

The annual election of officers of the association will take place at 4 p. m., September 1. The officers to be elected are the president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary and three directors.
