TROJANS PLAY CAMPBELL NEXT

Rip Tutor, Triple Threat Back, Out of the Camel Game With Injury

Louisburg, Nov. 9.—Coach Dave March announced today that a shoulder injury incurred in practice the other night by "Rip" Tudor, star halfback of the Louisburg college Trojans, will keep Tudor out of the lineup with the Campbell Camels at Buie's Creek next Saturday. It was hoped that Tudor would be in shape to take the field again for practice shortly after his accident, but the injury is failing to respond to treatment.

This injury will weaken the Trojan offensive considerably, as Tudor is a triple-threat man and leading scorer for his team. Scott Reed, who has been displaying a fine brand of ball in practice, will take the injured player's place at the left halfback position. Pennington, tackle, and Partin, guard, will be able to participate in the Campbell game after three weeks of nursing injuries.

Much time has been spent on polishing up on the tackling and blocking departments, which were the weak points brought out in the Wake Forest game. West, blocking halfback, who has been ailing with a bad knee, will be back in the starting lineup. His presence will be a great aid to the team, as he is one of the best all-round men on the squad.

Brown, Rogerson and Newsome have been showing up well the past week and will probably see much action in next Saturday's game. Pearson and McDaniels have been showing marked improvement on defense in working in the line, and it is hoped that they will prove strong reserve material for what they lack in weight.

Other than Tudor, the Trojans will be at full strength for the game next Saturday.
