Hon. Joseph LeMasters, of Tecumseh, Nebraska, arrived on Smith River a few days since, accompanied by his wife, son and daughter, and is visiting his old-time friend, Len. Lewis. Mr. LeMasters and G. S. Lewis were pioneers of Nebraska. He, in company with Len. Lewis, went with an ox team from the interior of Nebraska to Des Moines, Iowa, purchased, took home and set up and run the first reaper ever introduced in that State. Fortune smiled upon his efforts thus begun, and he is to-day, one of the leading real estate owners of his State. He has also won distinction in its Legislatures. He comes to Montana to visit old-time friends and make a tour of the National Park.
