Suffragettes Make Demonstration.

London, Nov. 22. - Incensed over Premier Asquith's 'concession' in the House of Commons today of a grant of time for the discussion next year of the suffragist bill, suffragettes again marched against the parliament buildings. Hundreds of women engaged the police in a clash on the House of Parliament grounds, in which at least a dozen women were injured, though none seriously.

The police had been tipped off to the demonstration and heavy reinforcements were on hand. At the height of the demonstration, Asquith's taxicab appeared. The women immediately surrounded it and before being driven back by the police, they succeeded in breaking the windows of the vehicle.

The police arrested 150 of the women. Many of the suffragettes were not in sympathy with today's demonstration, as Asquith's promise was considered by them a great victory.
