'Kine Cure' for Consumptives.
The odor of cows and cow stables is thought to have a curative effect upon consumptives. A hospital for this 'kine cure' is about to be opened at Reinickendorf, near Berlin. The sanatorium proper consists of a vast circular building, in the basement of which several hundred cows will be kept, and the odor of the stables be conducted to the rooms in the upper stories. In the center of the building is a large yard, for which a whey cure, bathing establishments, etc., are planned. The surplus of the dairy products is to be disposed of to the public under proper precautions.
