Captain Meriwether arrived at Boston last Friday in 8 Weeks from Bristol, by whom we have the following ADVICES, viz.

From the Head Quarters of Prince Henry of Prussia's Army at Lunay, April 17.

The Austrians having withdrawn the greatest Part of the Troops which they had on the Frontiers of Saxony, towards the Confines of Silesia, and into the Empire, Prince Henry formed a Design of driving those remaining into Bohemia, beyond the Eger, and to seize the Magazines and Stores which were left upon the Elbe, and other Places that they had occupied. In consequence of this Plan, he entered Bohemia the 19th Instant; one Column marched towards Peterswalde, and the other General Hulsen took its Route thro' Pasberg and Kommetau. The advanced Guard of that which marched against Peterswalde, found the Eminence behind the Village well fortified, by a Redoubt, before which a large Number of Trees had been placed, guarded by 600 Croats and some Hungarian Foot. This Passage being forced, our advanced Guards afterwards destroyed the Magazine which was at Auje, burnt all the Boats upon the Elbe, and rejoined the Army on the 26th at Welmina. The Meal and Forage which the Austrians left at Lobochutz and Leitmeritz, are fallen into our Hands, and we have burnt down the Bridge which they lately built there. Our advanced Guard will be at Budin this Day, where the Enemy have a Quantity of Provisions. General Hulsen found the Passage of Pasberg guarded by a Body of Croats, and the Regiments of Konigeck and Andlau. The Horse, which passed thro' Pelnitz, attacked the Enemy in the Rear, while they were attacked in Front by the Foot, who at length drove them from all their Intrenchments. General Renard, with 51 Officers and 2000 Men, were taken Prisoners. We took from the Enemy three Colours, two Standards, and three Pieces of Cannon. General Hulsen's advanced Guard will penetrate this Day as far as Saatz, and destroy all the Stores of Provisions which the Austrians, who are retiring as fast as possible to Prague, have abandoned. This Attack of Pasberg cost us only 70 Men killed and wounded.
