Two House Bills Get Welford's Signature

Governor Walter Welford Monday signed two house bills passed by the twenty-fourth legislative assembly now in session.

The chief executive approved house bill 80, returning to the office of the state dairy commissioner all inspectory duties with reference to the dairy department that are now imposed upon the state regulatory department. The bill also provides the dairy commissioner, his assistants and employees shall be paid all actual and necessary expenses.

An act regulating the practice of chiropody, house bill 8, also received the signature of the governor.
