COMMUNICATION.
Citizens Beware!—On Saturday evening last, one of the most daring gang of villains which infest the city was discovered in Chapel and Barley streets. Articles which had been stolen several months, were found secreted in different places, chiefly consisting of cabinet furniture, plate, clothing & dry goods.
Many stolen articles were likewise recovered from the Pawnbrokers of this city by means of their checks, which were found amongst the effects of Thomas Buckley, a mulatto man and principal actor in the above nefarious transactions.
Much praise is due to the following gentlemen, Mr. John Insley, Mr. Henry K. Hembold, and Mr. Duncan Physe, for their indefatigable and persevering exertions to recover the property, and effects of their fellow citizens.
