JUMPED INTO THE RIVER.

The body of Mrs. Diedrich Klug, seventy-two years old, of 307 East Forty-fourth street, was found floating in the river at the foot of East Forty-seventh street this morning.

Mrs. Klug rushed out of her house last night, clad only in a light calico dress, and ran to the foot of East Forty-second street, where she plunged into the river.

The tide carried her out in midstream, and she sank before assistance could be rendered.

She had a husband and several children, and had been despondent for several weeks.
