FOR CITRUS COUNTY
The many friends of Mrs. Earl (Harriett) Brooks are congratulating her this week upon her appointment as Public Health Nurse for Citrus County. The action was taken at a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of that county just before Christmas. Her appointment becomes effective as of Jan. 1st.
Four applications had been filed for the post and Dr. Robert M. Russell, Director of the Citrus, Hernando, Levy County Combined Health Departments, indicated that Mrs. Brooks was fully qualified and capable of handling the duties of the post.
Mrs. Brooks is the wife of Earl Brooks, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Landrum, of Southern Citrus county, and they have resided in Hernando county for a number of years.
Mrs. Brooks has had nursing experience at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, and at the Hernando County Hospital. She has also done considerable private nursing.
Her many Brooksville and Hernando county friends wish her every success in her new position.
