Local Pastor Is Kiwanis Speaker

Rev. Lawrence Miller of Trinity Methodist Church discussed his wartime experiences and observations while serving as a chaplain in Africa and India, at the Kiwanis Club meeting Wednesday noon.

Carl Heckler reported progress was being made on the Youth Community Building, and announced Ladies Night for Wednesday evening, October 5.

Dr. Richard Semon, Dr. Donald Burke and Lee Bracken were named to serve on the program committee. "Fred Jones, Kiwanian", a film, will be shown at the next meeting.
