NEWS BY TO-DAY'S MAIL.

The Grand Jury of the United States District Court of Baltimore yesterday found true bills against John G. Howard, of Prince George's, Maryland, and Thomas H. Fitzhugh, late of Virginia, for treason, in capturing, plundering and destroying the steamer Harriet De Ford. Indictments were also found against the same parties for piracy. A true bill was likewise returned against George Freeman, of Maryland, for taking possession of Havre de Grace with armed forces. Bradley T. Johnson and Henry G. Gilmore, otherwise Harry Gill, were also indicted for treason on several counts. All the above indictments were returned for trial before the Circuit Court of the Maryland District, which commences on the first Monday of November next.
