Full Text

Extract of a Letter from St. Kitts, March 29.

"IT is uncertain whether Adm. Rodney will send ten Ships to Jamaica, which we hear is invaded, or wait the orders of Admiral Pocock, who sailed 40 Days ago with a strong Squadron for that Station from England, who in his way is to stop here. Our Ministry is so intent upon taking Cuba, that they have ordered the Troops to be drawn off from Martinico if not taken, and if reduced, only to leave sufficient Garrisons. Jamaica and Cuba seem to be the disputed matter between the two Crowns at present."
