We are informed by Sir William Johnson, at the late Onondaga Treaty, concluded a Peace with the Chiefs of the Shawanese and Delaware Indians, the former of which declared that never his People had committed Hostilities against the English. The latter acknowledged that some of his People had been seduced by the French Indians in the French Interest, of which he heartily repented, and promised that the Prisoners which fell to their Share should be restored. They laid down the Hatchet against the French, and all their Accomplices.
