Ohio to End Detouring
on Roads Under Repair

A new program has been adopted by the Ohio state highway department which will eliminate the detour nuisance on roads which are being repaired and in places where bridges are being constructed.

Detours are to be established only in places where new roads are being built, and in those cases they will be made as short as possible and will be improved temporarily.

On roads that are being repaired half of the highway is to be left open for one line of traffic.
