SOLD POULTRY IN TRUST
AND FAILED TO CASH UP.

John Williams, colored, was arrested last night at the instance of W. H. Oetgen, a poultry dealer and green grocer at No. 320 Bryan street, east, charged with larceny after trust.

According to the statement made by Mr. Oetgen he gave Williams $15 worth of turkeys and chickens to sell. Williams was slow in turning in, and when he was found had disposed of all the poultry and had invested considerable money. He only had about a dollar in change in his pockets. He claims he sold the poultry on credit to reliable parties.
