The Beginning of this Month we had an Account from Paris, that an extraordinary Council had been held at Versailles, on Occasion of a Courier arrived from Madrid; and that at breaking up of the Council, Orders had been dispatch'd to the several Ports of that Kingdom, to put all their Men of War in Readiness, to be employ'd upon the first Notice; which Piece of News, if true, deserves the Attention of some of their Neighbours, especially considering how easy it is for them, by the wise Regulations they have some Time since made, to man a powerful Squadron in a few Days.
