Extract of a Letter from Paris, March 7.

We have received the agreeable News from Tours, that the People of that Place, who committed so many Excesses on Account of the high Price of Corn and Bread, are returned to their Duty, and that every Thing is quiet there; but we have, on the other Hand, an Account from Lower Auvergne, that 27 Villages in that Country are in Arms on the same Occasion, and that the Viscount de Beaune has received Orders to repair thither, at the Head of a Body of Troops, to quell the Rioters.
