Edinburgh, Nov.24. We learn from Stonehyve, that the Carolina Sloop, Capt. Arthur Stark, put in there last Week by contrary Winds, and still detained, fully laden with the Goods lately seized in Peterhead by him and Mr. George Lobban, Tide-waiter in Leith, Consisting of 160 Ankers of Brandy and Gin, a large Quantity of Tea in Banff-Shire Canisters, alias Coin-Sack, 40 Casks of Dutch Soap, a large Quantity of Castle Soap, 60 Dutch Pan-pots and Pots, a good deal of Gunpowder, Tobacco, several Casks of Cinnamon Waters, several Hogsheads of Wine, 30 Dry Wine Casks full of fine Dutch Goods, 20 Boxes of Sugar Candy, and other Sugars of all kinds in Casks, some Reams of Paper, several Pieces of Hollands, Dutch Napkins, Liquorice Ball, some Steel, Hemp, Mats of Brass Pans, &c. The Value of this great Seizure is not yet known.
