Washington, Jan. 9-AP-It's going to cost us $602.20 apiece to finance the war and keep the government going through the year starting July 1 But we're getting off cheap-the cost this year is $722.38. The difference is $120.18.
Also, your share of the public debt is going above $2,000 in the next fiscal year
If you're interested in settling up-even if you do, you'll have to keep right on paying taxes-that exact figure is calculated at $2,118.12 on June 30, 1946. That will be an increase of $293.47 over the $1,824.65 per capita debt next June 30.
