Boy Scout Troop Elects Officers; War Effort Goal
Browning Boy Scout Troop 100 at its recent meeting elected the following officers for the new year:
Jason Devereaux, senior patrol leader: Earl Andrus, scribe, and Tommy Rodgers, Allen Wilcox, Herbert Sherburne and Vern Meeks, patrol leaders.
One of the main objectives of the Troop, as stressed in outlining the new year's program, is that contributing the maximum towards the local war effort. Should any local organization need the help of the group they are urged to get in touch with Louis Schroer, Scout Leader.
Members already have shed their coats and gone to work, notable of which was their efforts on behalf of the paper salvage drive some months ago.
