ATLANTA SOCIAL WORK

Mrs Ann Beacham Brown, 1947 graduate of the Atlanta University School of Social Work has just been employed on the faculty of the University of California at Berkley, as Supervisor of the Field Work in the School of Social Welfare of the University.

This placement is most significant because Mrs. Brown is the first Negro to be employed by the School of Social Welfare and the School is her undergraduate Alma Mater Mrs. Brown, a very good student while in the School is a native Californian and is well qualified for this post.
