WASHINGTON, (AP) -- Secretary of Defense McElroy has ordered a damper on Army-Air Force feuding over whose antiaircraft missile is the better.
McElroy told reporters Wednesday that both the Army new Nike Hercules and the Air Force new Bomarc missile are needed.
McElroy indicated a decision is upcoming soon on another touchy issue between the Army and the Air Force - intermediate-range ballistic missiles.
