Full Text

The ship Lucy, in 23 days from Glasgow, which arrived at Halifax the first inst. brought news-papers to June 18th last. These contain accounts, that the civil dissensions which have for some time past unhappily prevailed in Holland, are rapidly approaching to a crisis, which will probably involve consequences the most disagreeable to humanity--all order and government were annihilated in most of the provinces, where the parties carried their vindictive resentments towards each other so far as reciprocally to execute all those who fall into their hands, who had taken any active part against them, and that it was the general opinion France, England, and Prussia, would be unavoidably obliged to take part in the contention.
