WASHINGTON, June 29, 1819.
'Two persons, by the names of Dorrance and Hale, were arrested in this city on Tuesday last, on a charge, by officers who had pursued them from Baltimore, of uttering and passing counterfeit money. They underwent a long examination before the Mayor, and were committed for further examination. They are said to be associates of those persons lately apprehended at Baltimore, on a similar charge, and to have made their escape from the custody of the officers at Baltimore, who overtook them and caused them to be apprehended here.'
