MEXICAN STATES ARE
LOYAL TO CARRANZA

BY MORNING JOURNAL SPECIAL LEASED WIRE

Galveston, Tex., April 19.—Meade Fierro, Mexican consul here, declares he has received an official dispatch from Mexico City that every state in Mexico has wired assurances to Carranza that they will remain loyal and have refused to join the separatist movement started by Sonora state officials. He states the advices declare that the states of Guerrero and Michoacan, which Carranza had feared might join the separatists, had endorsed the federal government.
