PRESIDENT WILSON HAS ANOTHER GOOD NIGHT
Washington, Oct. 8.--President Wilson has had another favorable night, according to a report reaching White House attaches early today, and a further slight improvement in his condition probably will be reported when Rear Admiral Cary T. Grayson issues his official bulletin later in the day.

WILSON STILL GAINS SLOWLY
Official Bulletin Says President Is Stronger Than Since Illness Began.

Washington, Oct. 8.--President Wilson was stronger today than at any time since he became ill, nearly two weeks ago, said a bulletin issued today by Rear Admirals Grayson and Stitt, and Dr. Sterling Ruffin. The bulletin follows:

"The president continues to improve slowly. He is stronger today than at any time since his illness began."

Cheerful at Breakfast.
After another good night, President Wilson appeared cheerful this morning. White House officials said, and, for the first time in more than a week expressed a preference for eggs for breakfast. It is with increasing difficulty that Rear Admiral Grayson and Secretary Tumulty keep the president from taking a hand in affairs of state. Late yesterday the president asked to see several persons, but neither Dr. Grayson nor Secretary Tumulty was able to locate any of them.

The president told them they showed a remarkable inability to find anyone he wanted to see, adding that so far as he was concerned the "campaign of silence" was at an end.

Although Dr. Grayson had discouraged the practice of having Mrs. Wilson read to the president, he is now permitting this to a great extent. Newspapers are banned, however, and the patient is kept practically in ignorance of the progress of world events,

Messages of sympathy were received at the White House today from King George of England; King Albert, of Belgium, a delegation of Armenians, President Marco F. Suarez, and Minister of Foreign Relations A. Pomponio Guzeman, of Colombia and Earl Curzon, of Kedleston.

It was indicated that anything the president is allowed to do is of a trivial nature and designed more than anything else to satisfy his craving for something to do. It was also stated that the president now is allowed to sit up at intervals during the day, but not so long that the strain would prove too much.
