Mrs. Dollie Wickers, 121 Davis street N. E. was fatally shot at her home shortly before midnight Saturday by her husband, Randall Wickers following a brief argument.

The woman who was wounded in the left side of her chest, near the heart, and her left arm, was rushed to the Grady hospital in a Murlaugh ambulance. She was pronounced dead upon arrival and the body turned over to Murlaugh for funeral arrangements.

Wickers escaped after the shooting and had not been captured at an early hour this morning.

The incident was witnessed by her brother-in-law, Jack Wickers.
