Letters from Genoa of the 24th of last Month inform us, That the Situation of Affairs in Corsica continue as it has been for some Time past: That the Rebels made Excursions even to the Gates of Bastia: That they have discovered the Secret of making good Salt, and sent some to the Governor of that Place, who was greatly surprised thereat: That the Rebels receiving frequent supplies of Provisions and Warlike Stores, without its being known from whence they come, the Republick has resolved to put to Sea some Gallies, to prevent any Relief coming to them; as also to send some Troops and Provisions to the Places possess'd by the Genoese, in the Island of Corsica, because the Rebels prevent any Succours from coming to them by Land.
