It is said he was branded at Salem for the Same Crime.-He goes sometimes by the Name of Michael Henley, at other times John Jones.-He has confessed breaking open the abovementioned Shop. and discovered where the Clothes were secreted, most of which have since been found. [ This is supposed to be the same Villain who broke open Mr. Allcock's Store in Ports-mouth, about a Year and a half ago, and took Goods to the amount of 150 Dollars, and was pursued soon after and overtaken at Providence, brought back to Portsmouth, with some of the Articles ; where he was tried, and found Guilty, Whipped, and bound to Mr. Allcock for 7 Years for the balance : but Mr. Henley ( which is his right Name) broke out of Gaol and has not since been so kind as to call this Way ; if this is the same Gentleman, which is not doubted, he is about 40 Years of Age, dark Complexion, and writes a good Hand : if the Authority at Boston would please to hang him, they would do a great Piece of Service to the Public.
