Public School Examination.—Yesterday Professor Howe's class passed an examination on anatomy, physiology and hygiene. The class, consisting of fourteen pupils, were thoroughly examined by the teacher on the following topics: Bones, muscles, teeth, digestive, circulatory, respiratory and vocal organs; absorption, secretion, nutrition, the skin, nervous system; the sense of touch, of taste and of smell: the organs of vision and of hearing and the means of preserving health. All the pupils acquitted themselves in a very creditable manner.

Each pupil was asked twenty-two questions. Lizzie Haskins, Mamie Ferris, Lena Colton, Winnie Blackburn, Hannah Logan, Andrew Pine, A. Adams, Kate Bardenwerper and Warren Noteware attained a standard of 100 per cent, or perfect. Vernon Little, Lenne Colton, Emma Chedic and Sallie St. Clair missed only one question. Next Tuesday the class will be examined in the history of the United States. All are invited to attend these examinations.
