HAIL!—T. J. Tennant informs the Reveille that on the 13th instant, at his farm in the mountains on the west side of Reese River Valley, a hail storm occurred lasting two hours, during which hailstones weighing two and a half pounds fell plentifully. They crushed the standing grain to the earth and half buried themselves in the soil. Where it was expected that fifty tons of barley would be harvested, it is now a matter of doubt whether five tons can be gathered. For miles around, especially in the ravines and canyons, trees were stripped of their limbs by the prodigious hailstones.
