Lowell Family Having Bunch Of Warm Domestic Differences
Mrs. Ollie Sanders, who spent Wednesday in Bisbee, looking for goods which were stolen from her room at the Tate House in Lowell, is of the belief that her husband, G. W. Sanders, is the party who stole the goods, according to information received here from Lowell. Her efforts to locate the goods so far have been fruitless.
A few days ago Sanders was arrested by Officer Fred Moore of Lowell and taken into Justice Hogan's court, on a charge of using vile and obnoxious language toward Mrs. Sanders. She was not the complaining witness in this case, however, as the arrest was made by Officer Moore who overheard the remarks. Justice Hogan fined him $6 and the cost of the case, he pleading guilty to the charge.
The next day Mrs. Sanders filed a complaint in Justice Hogan's office, charging her husband with assault. According to her allegations, Sanders was jealous of her. They quarreled and he struck her several blows in the face and on the body. The matter was settled between the defendant and plaintiff out of court.
The two have not been living together for some time, although no action has been brought by either for a divorce. He claims that she has been paying undue attentions to other men, she making a like allegation against him. She stated yesterday that she was going to leave the city and have nothing more to do with him.
The divine right of kings may have been a plea for feeble tyrants, but the divine right of government is the keystone of human progress.
