Political Meet At Traveler's Rest Postponed To Mon.

The scheduled political mass meeting for Travelers Rest Baptist Church has been postponed from tonight to Monday night.

The mass meeting had been arranged to give voters of the second ward all opportunity to hear candidates for office in the September 7 election. A conflict with a mass meeting of the Atlanta League of Women Voters made the change necessary so that all of the various candidates would have an opportunity to speak to the white women's group and to the Negro voters.

John H. Calhoun, executive secretary of the Atlanta Negro Voters League stated that a complete schedule of meetings will be released in Sunday's World. Voters in every ward will have a chance to hear the men who are seeking to represent them in the various city offices to be decided by the election.

The general committee of the League will hold an important meeting at 5 o'clock this evening to consolidate present information it has gathered concerning the various candidates.
