A Gentleman is arrived from Cape Nichola Mole. which he left the 17th of November. Just as he was coming away,a Vessel arrived from the Island of Cuba, which he left only two Days before, the Master of which informed,that he was obliged to quit the Island in the greatest Hurry and leave all his Cargo behind,-- There were so many Spanish Vessels cruizing to intercept all Pro- vision Vessels bound to the Island of Jamaica, that it was hardly possible for any to escape, And that all the French and Spaniards were employed Night and Day in repairing and building Fortifi- cations, with the greatest Expedition, and furnishing all their Gar- risons with a large Stock of Provisions and Ammunition.-- During his Stay at the Mole, Transports were arriving daily with Troops and Provisions.
