One of the frigates of Don Francisco Hidalgo de Cisneros did great damage to the enemy's camp, by keeping a continual fire; but as soon as the Moors perceived she was going to remove, they fired several bombs at her from the two mortars on the small point, but without doing her any damage. In the night of the 11th, they set fire to our palisades, in revenge for our setting fire to their intrenchments on the 9th; and all would have been consumed, if Capt. Don Antonio Manzo, with Ensign Don Ferdinand Moyano, and six active men, had not found means to extinguish it. The enemy sprung part of the mine they are directing against our advanced forts; they scarcely could not hope to hurt either the forts La Victoire or La Rosaire thereby, which are not in the least damaged, any more than our mines. The bombardment still continues.
