Full Text
Hon. Henry W. Dwight has been elected a member of Congress from Berkshire District, Mass. There is no choice in Hampshire District. Mr. Bates has the highest number of votes. The Pilgrim of the Boston Gazette thinks it really hard that any freeman of the District should vote against his friend Lathrop. We hope Mr. Pilgrim will pay the citizens of the District a visit, and convince them of their folly in voting for a gentleman whose talents are of the highest order, in opposition to Mr. Lathrop. In case he should make the journey, we beg of him not to write letters home for publication.
