LISBON, September 15.
Within these few days several ships have arrived with English troops on board, to reinforce the army of general Wellesley.
Lisbon Gazette, Sept. 15.
September 16.
Mr. Shaw, the messenger, sails to-morrow morning, in a brig of war, for England with dispatches. I have only to add to my last, that the armies remain inactive. The British head quarters are at Badajoz; the French have gone into cantonments, in the vicinity of Placentia, Corra, &c. Both parties appear to wait the issue of events in Germany.
