Opening of the Columbia Mozart Fair.

With great eclat this social fair was opened last evening. The Columbia Hose company and Mozart band paraded the streets. They formed in line at the Columbia house and marched through Main street to Lincoln avenue, then through Church street, Seventh avenue, Main street and Eighth avenue and countermarched to the hall. They attracted an immense concourse, who lined the streets, and the populace feel a large amount of interest in the success of the fair. The decorations of Burke's hall are what is considered by those that have been privileged to view it prior to the opening, as beautiful, and the artist has excelled undoubtedly in his art. The door prize of each evening will be a valuable one.
