Hamburg, Jan. 11.—Our accounts from Constantinople are to the 10th December. They state that the Porte has delivered to the British and Austrian Ambassadors a note respecting the Russian ultimatum, which is of a very pacific nature; it desists from its demand of the immediate delivery up of the Greek fugitives, and declares its readiness to evacuate Moldavia and Wallachia, but not till after the expiration of a certain time, in order, meanwhile, to put down the insurrection of the Greeks.—This is all the Ambassadors could obtain. The Note ends with a wish that the Christian Monarchs may preserve peace, and take care that Russia does not listen to the Greek Chiefs.

It is not known what impression this Note may make on the Russian Cabinet, but it is certain that if Russia declares war, the Government is too weak to hinder the people from committing excesses, at the bare idea of which humanity shudders.
