According to Letters from Lisbon, a new Revolution has happened in the Empire of Morocco; where Muley Abdallah, who was deposed Two Years ago, by the Blacks, by reason of his Cruelties, having made a considerable Party among the Whites, marched with a great Body of Troops against his Brother Muley Hamet Lariba, whom the Negroes chose in his Place, and totally defeated his Army, killing 7000 on the Spot, and taking all the rest Prisoners, except those who fled. After this Muley Abdallah entered the Southern Provinces, which had submitted to his Brother, and reduced them; but Muley Hamet Lariba retired to the Mountains with the Shattered Troops, so that Abdallah is like to remain in Possession of the Throne.
