Boston, Sept. 7—Twenty-five persons, including eleven children, were killed in motor vehicle accidents in this state during the week ending September 5. This was an increase of 11 deaths over the previous week. Convictions for operating under the influence of liquor numbered only 60, this being a decrease of 42 from the previous week, and the lowest number recorded since early last spring. Three were committed to jail for this offense. The number of licenses revoked for various offenses also showed an encouraging decrease, having dropped from 294 to 269.
