Mrs. Annalee Stewart, national legislative secretary of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, will speak on Wednesday, March 11 session of the Butler Street YMCA Hungry Club.
Dr. Hilliard A. Bowen, Area I superintendent of the Atlanta Public Schools, will moderate the session which will begin at 12:15 p.m. and will be broadcast over radio station WERD between 12:45 and 1:00 p.m. Mrs. Stewart will discuss "Peace and Freedom: Humanity's Unfinished Business."
Mrs. Stewart was among the first women to become an ordained minister in the Methodist Church. She is also the only woman in the history of the United States Congress to have served as guest chaplain in the House of Representatives.
She received the baccalaureate degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and has done graduate work at Boston University School of Theology.
