Full Text
A feeling thereabout belligerent feeling springing up in one class of our citizens towards another which threatens the worst consequences to us as a nation; and it becomes the duty of every individual to allay that feeling - to prevent, as much as in their power, the occurrence of circumstances calculated to foster it and give just grounds of complaint; but if cases like the present are allowed to occur, it is in vain we say to those who complain of their lot, you enjoy equal rights and privileges, and are equally protected by the laws of the land, with the wealthiest and most influential; and it would be in vain to attempt to allay their dissensions and heart-burnings. - Phil Com Herald.
