A Suit Against a Steam-Tug.

A suit in admiralty against the tug George W. Pride was filed yesterday by the owners of the schooner Anna M. Bray, in which the damages were laid at $1,200. It is alleged that on the 10th of last December the tug was chartered to tow the schooner to Quantico, or clear of the ice then in the Potomac River. When Red Horse Cove was reached it was found necessary for the schooner to put into the cove for protection, the captain of the tug promising to return next day and tow her to her destination. This he failed to do, however, and the ice, breaking the following morning, crushed the schooner to pieces, and she proved a total loss.
