The Christian Bazaar, an annual affair of the ladies of the Kennewick Christian church, is to be held two days this year, Dec. 9-10.
This year's bazaar and food sale is to be much different than those formerly held down town, as it will be in the church basement, at Third and Washington and the articles for sale will be displayed in specially constructed booths decorated especially for event in the Christmas motif.
From five until eight in the evening both nights, a dinner will be served to the public. The dinner is to encourage the whole family to come out that Friday and Saturday and celebrate as a family unit. It is hoped that enough high chairs will be provided for all the small fry that come.
The booths, which will be open all day, will include one for White Elephants with the price for the articles just what the purchaser wishes to pay, the Gift booth which includes tea towels, tablecloths and luncheon sets, aprons and numerous handmade gift items for both children and adults, a cooked food booth, homemade candy, homemade cookies, a donut tree and coffee, cards and Christmas wrappings, and of course, the ever popular Fish Pond which is always the center of attraction for the children.
Mrs. B. J. Spurgeon, vice president of the Ladies Circle has been acting as general chairman of the proceedings in the absence of Mrs. Ollie Saunders president, who just returned from visiting in Montana.
